NOVELS

My world changed the day I learned to hold a pencil and since then, I've been creating worlds with nothing but an active imagination and any writing tool I could get my hands on. I joined Wattpad in 2015 - a site  where authors can share their works for free  and have been posting all of my first-draft novels there. I have since been fiercely dedicated to writing the kind of novels I did not see while I was growing up. I write about Africans, in all their melanin-glory, brown eyes, curly hair, thick lips and all. I write about the rainbow babies, girl-meets-girl-and-gets-happy-ending types. I want the world to know that we exist beyond the side token roles we're given in mainstream media. we have a voice, we have stories and I will tell them until my dying breath.

MOMMY

LGBT NEW ADULT FICTION

Set in South Africa, 2016, Mommy follows the life of Paiten Hearth, a seventeen-year-old biracial girl who has been single-handedly raised by her Caucasian father.

Paiten lives a rather mundane life as she tries to navigate through grade eleven along with attempts to play professional hockey. It all changes when her father begins dating a woman by the name of Anna Carson, a twenty-four-year-old accountant.

Paiten hates Anna because she's ruined her perfectly routine life and she's read enough evil-stepmother stories to know that she does not need that kind of drama in her life.

The worst thing about the entire situation is that Paiten is fighting an inner turmoil in regards to her sexuality and the conflicting feelings about her father's ridiculously gorgeous girlfriend don't help much.

When her husband, Wassim, commits the highest treason towards the kingdom and is executed Nura needs a spouse by her side. She shocks the nation and the world when instead of a new King, she takes on a Queen.

But her plight isn't over because there are bad people within the Kingdom's ranks who want to see the Jews suffer and now more than ever, Esther needs to stand up for her people in the face of adversary.
